About the Blog
The blog’s title is a reference to childhood ball teams who are always reminded that “It’s not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game.” Today, far too many politicians, perhaps most, have forgotten this bit of wisdom and instead have embraced an “ends justify the means” mentality.
Likewise the Average Joes among have forgotten that it’s not the destination, but the journey and the choices we make that define us. Far too often we put things off waiting for life to fall perfectly into place when we could be living for today and putting those pieces into place ourselves.
Which Brings Us to Yoda
When it comes to change within, it’s not enough to “try” without actually believing that change is possible. This is a lesson that Yoda tried to teach the young Skywalker in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
